SPARROW

Common name: Rufous-collared sparrow
Scientific name: Zonotrichia capensis

Small bird (5 ½″ to 6″), very abundant. It can be seen in almost all Patagonia environments: coasts, meadows and forests. Its main identifiable feature is a reddish feathered ring around the neck. During spring and summer, it can be found along all the Magallanes region.
